Cables laying directly on flooring (particularly carpet) are prone to issues. All cable elevators combat this issue simply by removing the cable from direct contact with the floor below.

Our cable elevator does more than just lift the cable from the floor. It encapsulates the cables using diagonally opposed elastics which absorb structure borne and speaker induced vibrations (which can feed into your equipment). These elevators are designed to allow the properties of the elastic to absorb any such vibrations. For heavier cables (power cords for example) just double up on the elastics (extras included).
